Beitou Sweet Me Hot Spring Resort

I liked the Japanese‑style seating that sits right next to the bed, and the hotel’s spot is great for shopping—there are plenty of stores and night markets on certain days. Carrefour is just next door, and McDonald’s and KFC are across the street. The downside is the bathroom: when the shower or spring water is turned on, a strong, rotten‑egg smell pours out from the drainage trap—so intense you almost feel like vomiting. The window offers nothing but a view of the backyard and houses right beside the hotel.

“贅沢気分の温泉”

The hotel is conveniently close to the station and offers a large public bath; the room size is more than adequate and the transport links are excellent, so next time I plan to skip staying in downtown Taipei and book this place with its in‑room hot spring. Unfortunately, the bathroom ventilation seemed poor during my visit, leaving the washroom walls damp with condensation.
