Breakfast and dinner were tasty, and staying near the smoking area helped. However, the navigation in the rental car I had elsewhere was poor, so I had to register the inn’s address to return smoothly.

The balcony lets you view the stars, which are plentiful and beautiful. The bathroom water pressure is strong. Because the house is old, the wooden floor creaks when you walk, and at night it’s quiet but you should be careful.

I spent 28 nights at this lovely inn on Miyakojima island. First, Izumi‑san, the owner, and her husband Shimano‑san were extremely helpful and attentive to every detail or question I had. The inn has a balcony where you can relax, enjoy an amazing night star view, or simply drink a beer. The house provides every necessary facility, including a traditional Japanese breakfast if requested, and a scooter for rent to explore the whole island. I had a great time there, I absolutely recommend it, and special thanks to Izumi‑san, who was the best host I’ve ever had. I loved everything.

My second stay here! It’s a wonderful place in a lovely residential area with super quick access to many beaches (we had a rental car). The owner is a super kind woman with tons of amazing recommendations. It was a pleasant stay and very affordable.
