The place is enchanting and quiet, with plenty of birds. Gema is adorable and helpful. There’s a nice trail that starts from the hostel. The staff are kind to children. However, the slope to get there is steep, and I didn’t feel safe returning after dark (after 18:00). A taxi is preferable. The good news is that Indrive is now available in Matagalpa.

The service was outstanding and the discgol game was incredibly engaging; everything is meticulously detailed, letting you connect with nature and enjoy a truly peaceful atmosphere, and the nighttime city view is astonishing. Highly recommended.

We traveled as a family and found the rooms and amenities pleasant, with a helpful and attentive host; wildlife was right next door. I was a bit shocked at first when I drove the last few hundred metres to the place because of the slope and state of the road, but I quickly got used to it.

Great staff, a unique location with a private trail into the jungle, delicious food, lovely rooms in a tranquil natural setting, useful tips, and straightforward communication – we’ll be back!

A wonderfully quiet spot where we had a great meal (breakfast and dinner). The climb up the mountain from the city is steep; it wasn’t a problem for us, but it’s good to know for others.
