La Butte hotel is nestled in a park with trees and flowers, opposite Goulven bay. The family-run hotel features 32 rooms with land and sea views, served by a lift. Two on-site restaurants include a Michelin-starred eatery with a Green Star and a Bib Gourmand-awarded bistrot. Modern seminar facilities and electric car charging are also available.

The hotel had everything needed and the rooms were very pleasant; the staff were quick and friendly. The breakfast buffet was decent, but its presentation felt like a trial lab for the regional products, and we struggled to find our way around. Unfortunately, one of the dinners had tough chicken, and there was no shower gel, which was a shortfall for us motorbike travelers.

The place was very friendly, with a real sense of hospitality, a good sense of the visit, and the environment. The services were of good quality and there was creativity in the dining. I loved the restaurant menu and am passionate about fermentation, but it would have been better not to mix ecological reflection with fun, because the bar was closed in the evening (we’re still in a starred place), and the building itself is quite austere.
