The place is in a great spot, and checking in and out was a breeze; the studio matched the description exactly, the bed was ultra comfy and the bathroom was more than sufficient – I’d definitely book again if I’m back in the area.

The hosts were friendly, kind and helpful; the father offered to drive us to the station for two mornings so we could catch a train to York – nothing else to add.

I really liked my stay and would recommend it; the room was cozy and the bed was super comfy, though the bedding and towel had a faint damp smell.

Everything was spotless and the hosts were lovely – I couldn’t ask for anything better.

Adam and Camilla were friendly and quick to reply, and Adam apologized for the issues I’ll mention; the house is in a good spot for visiting Durham by bus. I was disappointed with the bathroom, which smelled damp because there’s no window; the extractor fan didn’t seem to do the job. The info about breakfast being in the room was wrong – it’s actually in the family kitchen – I’d have preferred it in my room as stated. I managed to cook for myself with the microwave and small fridge because I’d bought some food.
