“Détente et simplicité”
The welcome and the kindness of Éliane, the host, and her husband were great. The pool was a relief during the heat, but it was a shame the air‑conditioning was off due to a malfunction. The AC simply didn’t work.
The room was nice, but you have to go down the hallway to reach the bathroom and toilet. You also have to pass through their living room/kitchen, which they use themselves, to get into the room. Philippe and Éliane are both sweet and pleasant.
Everything went very well 👍 Nothing to add.
The reception was very warm. Philippe and Éliane are friendly and put guests at ease; they listen to arrivals and their pool is a big advantage on hot days. My daughter enjoyed it a lot. A little Alsatian tasting at breakfast added a nice touch.

The pool was much needed given the temperatures that week. We even went out to eat with the hosts at a small concert nearby.
