Hotell Krabban, a family-owned hotel, is centrally located in Strömstad, close to the ferry terminal and sea front. The hotel features marine-style rooms with TVs and free WiFi. Strömstad Train Station is 400 metres away. The ferry to Koster Islands departs just 200 metres from the property, offering easy access to scenic islands. Nearby marina and town centre offer various dining options.

The hotel is centrally located in Strömstad, with a toilet and shower in the room, simple check‑in with codes, and coffee and tea available at reception. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was included in the price. Because we were there in the fall during the low season, the hotel didn't serve breakfast, so we ate at Konditori Kaffedoppet, a short walk from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was generous, with everything you could expect, such as fresh rolls, yogurt, various spreads, and some of yesterday’s pastries (wienerbrød, cakes, smørgåstårter, etc.). The toilet and shower area were in the lowest quality. Unfortunately, the hotel has no reserved parking for guests; if you’re lucky, you can find a spot on the street outside the hotel.

The location is central, and the room was okay. Parking options were limited, breakfast was in a different building, and there was a bad smell in the hallway and room.
