“Remote cabins with a super‑helpful host”
The cabins sit in a totally natural spot, just a few kilometres from the tiny town of San Agustín del Valle Fértil, which has a gas station and a couple of decent eateries – La Martina is cheap and the food is surprisingly good. From there you can get to the Moon Valley (Ischigualasto) in about 45 minutes and Talampaya in a little over an hour. The owner was incredibly friendly, always ready to help and to share the stuff you won’t find in the usual guidebooks.
“Spacious, noise‑free property”
The grounds are huge and you’re far from any traffic or city noise, which makes it perfect for a relaxed break. Nothing else to complain about.
“Beautiful place with an eco‑focused owner”
The site is stunning, and Luis, the owner, clearly cares about the environment – you can see his philosophy everywhere. I couldn’t find a single thing I didn’t like.
“Quiet hideaway, needs a microwave”
The peace and the surrounding nature were the biggest draws – it felt like a real escape. The only thing that would improve the stay is a microwave or some way to heat up meals in the room. Otherwise, a nice, quiet spot.
“Friendly staff, but a cold room”
Staff were genuinely friendly, which made the stay pleasant, but the rooms felt a bit chilly for me, so bring an extra sweater.
