“Wonderful and incredibly welcoming 💛”

We spent one night here before heading out on our independently booked Yala Safari and it was fantastic. A warm welcome came with a tasty drink and chilled towels. The family running the homestay were incredibly kind, spoke good English, and made the room spotless with a nice bathroom. Their information booklet was helpful. They picked us up at 4:30 am for the safari and even woke up early to prepare a breakfast package. When we came back, they greeted us again with another drink. Their genuine kindness and care made the stay memorable, and I would definitely recommend it.

“Perfect!!”

Everything was perfect. This was the best room I’ve had in Sri Lanka—spacious, immaculate, with a comfy bed, a nice bathroom, and a balcony. We slept soundly, and a tasty juice was waiting when we arrived. The people were friendly, we had a spot to park our tuk‑tuk, and breakfast was simple but adequate. From the balcony we enjoyed a lovely view and spotted many birds.

We had arranged the safari ourselves and told them the departure was at 5 am; they gave us a packed breakfast. During the safari we could eat, and the food was delicious and satisfying.
