The place was exactly as shown in the photos. It’s run by the Ibis Styles hotel next door, and the hostel itself is very clean with most rooms freshly renovated. It was a pleasant and friendly stay. The only issue was the lack of a kettle in the kitchen.

The hostel sits in a quiet section and is a decent walk from both the city centre and the train station, which was convenient. Unfortunately the shared cooling unit and kitchenette were in rough shape and the fridge on the floor was too tiny for anything more than a snack. In a double‑room I would have liked at least a small fridge or a kettle right in the room.

The rooms were clean and the furnishings looked nice, which made the stay comfortable.

Communication with the staff was prompt and the price was reasonable, so that part was fine. The kitchen, however, was pretty bare‑bones – there weren’t even basic glasses for water or wine, which made it hard to use.

I was disappointed with the hostel in the Beskydy area – the hot water lasted only about five minutes before turning cold, so a proper shower was impossible. I didn’t expect luxury, but given the price it didn’t feel like good value, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
