Rodeway Inn at Nevada State Capitol

The noise at night was unbearable, with many dogs barking and a lot of general racket that made it impossible to sleep.

“Hated it”

The room near the vending machine had a terrible odor, almost like death, and that was the only thing I could mention.

“Below average hotel, be below, average clean cleanliness, and definitely below average communication”

I called over 20 times to reach the manager, but the office was always busy and the phone system was broken, so I couldn't cancel my reservation. I was still charged for an extra night, even though I tried repeatedly to resolve the issue. The room cost $50, yet they billed me $180 because of a motorcycle event in town.

“Carson Stay”

Finding the place was easy and parking was convenient; the staff were polite and there was no long wait at check‑in because I had prepaid. My husband liked the bed, which is firm, but he has a bad back so I didn't mind. We stayed during a bike rally, so the noise level was a bit high. The room had a strong freshener smell when we entered, but it faded. The bathroom paint was peeling, corners needed cleaning, and both interior and exterior doors required wiping.

“Disgusting very unsanitary and I wouldn't recommend it. I complained nothing was done. I asked the housekeepers for”

The location was fine, but the advertised pool and breakfast were missing. The room was filthy: black floor, walls, and windowsills; the bathtub was covered in socks and ants. The front desk asked for an extra $40 deposit even though we were paying by debit card, and I didn't understand the cleaning deposit for such a dirty room. I had to buy a broom, cleaners, and rags because we were seven hours from home and couldn't leave for another room—everything was booked. Parties outside ran all night and nobody warned us. When I went to the office, the person who checked me in was gone, and another gentleman said “that’s how it is.” I took many pictures. If I ever return to the area and everything is booked, I would not stay here; my fiancé, kids, and I would have to sleep in our SUV. Housekeepers only used a dust mop, leaving sticky floors from previous guests. We paid $598 for four days and had to spend extra money to make the room somewhat comfortable. I am very upset and would not recommend this place.
