The place was solid, but the Wi‑Fi in the room kept dropping out—maybe the campsite’s distance from the city centre is to blame.

The spot is great, with a bus stop right next to the campsite that gets you to Oslo’s centre quickly; the cabin was spotless and the check‑in ran smoothly. However, the cabin lacked basic kitchen extras like a cutting board, dish‑washing liquid, and similar items, and the bathroom is 200 m away.

It’s lovely to be out in nature yet still close enough to Oslo for good walks this time of year. The only hiccup was that the indoor kitchen area was closed without prior notice; an inexpensive way to brew tea and coffee would have been handy. Showers and restrooms were clean and well maintained, but a small table for toiletries would improve the setup.
