The place is gorgeous and very quiet, a real gem run by local merchants who would delight their guests. The owner, however, comes off as nothing like a proper merchant—he seems more like a hippy or a tinkerer, always frowning and never saying anything pleasant. Cleanliness is borderline; I’m not convinced the cleaning staff finished after the previous guest.

It’s a decent spot, nothing extraordinary. The hostel sits 0.9 miles off the Camino, and the host was not very welcoming; he treated us with skepticism, as if we were trying to cheat him, despite there being plenty of empty rooms.

The beds are comfortable and the setting is nice, but the host—who was the only staff member—was the worst I’ve ever encountered. He was rude and unfit for hospitality, and the other guest from France felt the same. Don’t stay here.
