“Buena estancia”
Everything about the hotel and its excellent staff was fine, and they let us shower before catching the train; however, despite the wide variety, the breakfast options didn’t convince us, so we went out to eat.
“Excelente”
The rooms were very spacious with very comfortable beds, and the nightlife on the river was lively; the breakfast was impressive for Asians but very poor for Westerners, and if you’re staying to explore the area, Tam Coc might be a better choice.
The place is really a conference hotel with a mainly local clientele; the rooms were spacious, well furnished and equipped; the breakfast offered was modest; the pool is a public one, so people mainly come to swim; note that access to the gym is an extra fee; we were unlucky because noisy neighbors disturbed us during our stay.
We spent three nights on the 10th floor, using two suites and a double room. All of the rooms were spacious and the bathrooms spotless, though a few spots of paint were beginning to crack. The beds were very comfortable and the view was spectacular. Street noise was barely audible, yet the elevator’s “ding” could be heard constantly. The Vietnamese‑style breakfast was generous, even serving pho twice, and you could order an iced café au lait with ice cubes and condensed milk. The staff’s English was limited, but with a translator we managed to communicate, and they helped us locate a 16‑seat vehicle for a trip to Pu Luong. All in all, the hotel offers great value for money and I’d gladly return.
The bathroom was very dirty and stank.
