The place was spotless and the staff were super friendly, but it’s a bit far from the highway.

The room was decent, water was free and hot or cold, but it wasn’t hot enough for a budget room. It’s too far from the main road, there are no free shampoo or soap, the secondary lock is damaged yet still movable manually.

The receptionist was cheerful and the rest of the staff were really helpful, the front desk is staffed 24 hours so any issue gets dealt with, and there are water dispensers down the hall offering free cold water, which was great. The street has stalls, eateries and a convenience store nearby, making the location very convenient, the Wi‑Fi works reasonably well (though it can lag), the front desk area is clean, and the back‑alley vibe actually feels safe. On the downside, the room smelled strongly of mould at first—after a couple of days you get used to it—but it was very unpleasant initially, the humidity was extreme and stifling with only a fan to cope, the shower only gave cold water, and although the lack of AC made the room feel cooler, we still wanted warm water. The walls had holes in places and looked shabby, and we saw four cockroaches of various sizes emerging from them. The kitchen tap wouldn’t dispense water, presumably because we were using it wrong, and the bed didn’t seem very clean. The window was essentially non‑existent; being a corner room there was only a tiny vent‑like opening in the upper left, so don’t expect a real window. Finally, the TV inexplicably stopped working midway, which isn’t a big deal for me but could disappoint anyone who wants to watch something.
