The room was clean and tidy, with fresh, soft, fragrant towels. There was air conditioning, a small fridge, a TV, books, and the option to prepare tea or instant coffee. The host was welcoming and kind—an excellent host. The bathroom was very clean, especially the shower cabin, which was exceptionally spotless. The only minor complaint was that in the sparkling white sink, the first thing I noticed from the entrance were two short black hairs; I don’t know how that slipped by, even though everything else was immaculate, and the sink itself was very clean. I mention this only to bring it to the host’s attention, not as criticism, because everything else was extremely clean. In the room I was the only guest, but unlike the photos, there was only one pillow and a small blanket on the bed, even though there was a set of bedding in the wardrobe that was visibly used before and stained, which I didn’t want to use because it seemed to be left over rather than intended for guests. The room was surprisingly quiet and peaceful, making it easy to rest and sleep. The main advantage is the location near the center, the market, and nearby venues. The downside is that the bathroom, although only for your use, is separated from the room by a small hallway, so after showering you have to dress in the bathroom and then in the room, and in the evening when you need to go to the toilet from bed you have to dress again. For the price, that’s a bit of a lack of comfort. If you’re driving, be prepared to add the cost of public parking at 60 cents per hour on the street or 80 cents at a nearby private parking, which is charged from 6 am to 8 pm, but there’s no charge overnight and parking is free during that time. Overall, I would rate the apartment between 7 and 8; I think that’s fair and correct, slightly closer to 8 because of the host’s friendliness.
