Only the location was okay. We found the towel sets stained brown and after insisting the owner bought new ones, her daughter said, “if they get dirty we can’t keep buying them every time.” The room was generally untidy, with dirty pillow covers and cobwebs on the beams. We reported that the shower siphon wasn’t working, making showering uncomfortable, and that the shower tray was clogged, causing a flood; the owner replied almost 18 hours later, saying she’d call a plumber only after our checkout. I won’t return or recommend it. I couldn’t upload all the photos because of app issues, so I posted this review to warn other travelers.

The owners were very friendly, kind, and helpful; they even stored our luggage in their restaurant and drove us to the room. The location relative to the town center is great. The downsides were the shower that barely produced water, the bidet, and the fact that it’s a room‑share with no regular cleaning – one night we ran out of water because our cistern ran dry, but it was fixed within a few hours.

Just a few steps from the town centre and about 10 minutes from the harbour, the place sits in a great spot. During our stay the air‑conditioner broke down, but the staff were super helpful and handled it quickly. The bathroom was a bit cramped and the shower didn’t work perfectly, but we adapted for the short few‑day stay.

“Recensione "Case Annmarie"”

Casa Annmarie B&B is smack in the middle of town, close to bars, the city centre and services like the post office, pharmacy and grocery store. We booked a quadruple room for a group of friends and overall it was pretty nice. The hosts were very kind and available, and the air‑conditioner in my room worked perfectly. On the downside the room was a bit dirty, there was no clothesline inside and only a thin string outside the balcony to hang a tablecloth. It would be helpful to provide something for drying laundry, especially in larger rooms and in seaside areas. Parking isn’t free – it’s residential. You can either park a little farther in the white stripes or pay for the blue stripes. That’s not a fault of the property, just a common situation in Castellammare del Golfo.

The place is well‑situated compared to city services, the bedroom is spacious, and the bathroom is convenient.
