The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious, each with a balcony; a bedside reading lamp would be a nice addition. The sauna area was nicely divided into family and over‑18 sections. A large kids’ area allowed guests with and without children to dine together, as the kids would head straight to the play zone after meals. Breakfast could offer a slightly larger selection. Dinner was rather average in taste, but each evening there was a huge and very tasty salad bar—an absolute plus.

I was pleased to find hiking trails nearby, but the hotel lacks a separate towel bag for the sauna; you have to use the room towels, and over a two‑night stay no housekeeping came to change them, which feels unacceptable for a 4‑star property. At least bathrobes are available at reception. The building itself is clearly old‑fashioned. If you’re okay with minimal comfort and low expectations, you can book here, but anyone truly looking for 4‑star service, equipment, and comfort will likely be disappointed. Reception still needs improvement to reach 4‑star standards. The food is decent but doesn’t meet 4‑star expectations, especially for kids, and if you book without half‑board and want to dine at the hotel in the evening, it’s also too expensive.

This mountain hotel is ideal for families, offering exceptionally versatile activities for children. Rooms include a separate children’s room so parents can still enjoy the evening while the kids sleep. With half‑board, the entire day provides self‑service coffee and non‑alcoholic cold drinks.

The location was very good. Both the breakfast and the dinner buffet were tasty and offered a wide selection. The sauna area had no drinking options.
