This spot is a good 8 miles of Hwy 62, in the desert with views of the mountains. If you get a clear sky night you will have a starry night. We did not get so lucky, but the sunset was beautiful. The instructions on how to get there where right on but the sandy roads where bumpy. A group of campers where loud until past midnight, so it was not the quiet night we where hoping for
