The whole building was just recently renovated and everything feels very clean and harmonious. The furnishings are simple, or kept that way. We stayed in the apartment under the roof – the steep spiral staircase was a bit annoying. We didn't need it, but the fold‑out roof windows come with a retractable mosquito net – essential in summer. The reception ladies were not having a good day: first we were accused of not booking breakfast, and when we asked if we could bring a dog into the dining area they said “better not”; the shutters were also down. Because of that we can't comment on the dining, as our money went to the local pizza place. It will be fine though, the place was busy in the evening. Another lady at check‑out was very nice.
