“Zalige rust”
The breakfast hit the spot and the place is just perfect for setting off on a hike. Everything’s clean, the food is decent and you’re right on the trailhead.
Benoît and Isabelle (they speak French, English and Dutch) were welcoming and gave us solid tips for walking around the area. We stayed in the sauna‑room with an outdoor shower, woke up to birds singing, and had breakfast delivered to the garden – fresh local produce served on handmade ceramic plates. The bed was comfy, the lack of air‑conditioning didn’t bother us despite the 32‑36 °C heat, and they even helped us fix a car issue on arrival.
The location is unbelievably peaceful and we loved every detail, especially the warm hospitality from Isabel and Benoît and the excellent breakfast. The sauna at sunset was definitely the highlight of our stay.
