SpringHill Suites Devens Common Center

Property was under construction, it was horrible stay. No hot water, no pool, no food court, smelled like fresh paint, noisy construction in the AM. Came into town for a wedding from MI, no heads up about renovations; the groom was embarrassed because they had a room block for out‑of‑town guests and no warning. We had to walk in the rain to another hotel for breakfast with a voucher for half off the buffet—what a joke! I asked for a discount or a refund, they said because I booked through a third party, no go! I called the hotel directly and no one answered or told me to book later. What a scam! BECAUSE I WORK IN THE WORLD OF BULLSHIT, I will get my money back!!

I was not notified that the hotel was under construction. The hallways were filthy, the elevator was broken, the shower in our room took close to 20 minutes to get warm, and every single noise from the hallway could be heard in our room—terrible stay.

“Other than the sofa bed bedding, everything else was great.”

Excellent. Gida was very friendly and helpful, but the bedding for the sofa bed smelled bad; it smelled like it hadn’t been washed.

The breakfast spread was impressively varied, and an attendant was ready to whip up waffles or whatever I wanted; I really liked the split room layout with a sitting area separate from the bed area, plus a small kitchenette featuring a sink, microwave, and fridge – all very nice. No complaints.
