A comfortable bed, but the reception was not at the motel and I had to keep the window curtains closed all the time for privacy.

The place is well located and roomy, though it was a bit noisy because of other guests.

The room was clean and had all the basics for a one‑night stay, but checking in at a different location felt odd, though I get why they run two front‑of‑house ops.

The property was very clean, yet the odd driveway and the small couch were a drawback.

The place is within walking distance of Waikato University, making weekend visits to my daughter convenient. However, there is no cooking space; only a microwave to reheat food and a kettle to boil water.
