Thumper Pond Resort

I was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service provided by the hotel manager. She exuded warmth and professionalism throughout my stay, always greeting me with a smile from early morning till late at night. Her dedication to ensuring a seamless experience for guests was truly commendable.

My stay was a mixed bag, with some notable highs and lows. I was pleased with the spacious room, which featured a comfortable sofa bed. However, I was disappointed to find that the water park area was closed, despite the website indicating that only the slides were out of order. To make matters worse, I was placed on the first floor next to a wedding reception, despite booking a room with a terrace view. The front desk staff member I interacted with was also quite unfriendly.

“Very good stay”

Our stay was marked by a great location that suited our needs perfectly. However, the restaurant service was a letdown, as the food took an inordinate amount of time to arrive. Despite the long wait, the service itself was excellent, which made the experience all the more frustrating.

While the hotel's location was ideal for our purposes, our stay was marred by several issues. The restaurant was woefully understaffed, leading to long wait times and overcharging for meals. To make matters worse, we were hit with a $20 daily resort fee that wasn't disclosed when we booked our room, and I'm still unclear about what the fee was for. The only notable amenity was a pool, which we didn't end up using.
