I arrived late in the evening and checked in without any trouble; the staff were very friendly and even handed us the cutlery we borrowed from the reception. The breakfast was good and the kids loved the syrniki. However, breakfast started at 9:00 am, which felt very late, and we couldn’t get the TV to turn on even with the instructions; after a long drive we were exhausted and no one from the staff came to help.

The location is great and the restaurant was very enjoyable, with tasty breakfasts and excellent cuisine. The hotel itself is terrible and needs renovation; everything feels old and uncomfortable. The room smells of cigarettes, the bathroom is frightening to touch, the towels are in awful condition and scary to handle, so I would not recommend this hotel.

The location was convenient and the renovation was decent. Unfortunately, many things fell short of expectations. The biggest issue was the gap between the 8.4 rating on the booking site and the actual condition: the rooms were dirty, the plumbing was rusty, the remote had no batteries, the bedding had holes, the mattress was uncomfortable, and the soundproofing was poor—doors rattled, conversations inside the hotel could be heard, and traffic noise came through from outside. Breakfast was fairly decent, but the coffee was instant and there were no other drinks—no juice, compote, or tea even for an extra fee. A fair rating would be around 7.0 with a price 1.5–2 times lower. I gave it a two to bring the rating closer to reality.
