“Ecocamping ipv ecoglamping”
The private bathroom was spacious, very tidy and clean. They talk about glamping, but it’s really just a tent with beds. There was no space to sit in your tent, which makes sense because the shade trees also need to give shade in summer, but when your legs are constantly scraped by the trees you still lack space. In addition, you had to walk a long way to the toilet building where everyone had their own private bathroom. In the evenings and at night it doesn’t feel like glamping at all, even though you don’t need a toilet roll. There was no coffee or tea facilities in or near the tent, nor a small stove. They advised not to eat in your tent because of bugs. All of that is understandable, but then say it’s a campsite with a private bathroom in the central toilet building. With glamping I’d expect more luxury inside and around your own tent. Now you have to go to the central building for every cup of tea or snack, where there was a shelf in the fridge and a shelf in the cupboard. We were there at the same time with a larger family group. So you have to wait until you can do the dishes, cook, etc. In short, ecocamping instead of ecoglamping.
