“Food was fine, nice location”
The location was nice and the staff were friendly, but the room had a musty smell, one bed was missing slats and the frame was loose, and the sink tap delivered extremely hot water.
“We had to search for somebody to check us in. She was nice enough when she turned up though.”
The rooms were dirty, the beds squeaked, the pillows were stained, and there were spiders on each side of the bed.
The staff were lovely, the food was great, and the rooms were clean and comfortable in a lovely quiet location, though the car park was a bit small.
The hotel was conveniently located near the wedding event, and Gary, the host, was very helpful and gave me a double bedroom for the night, thank you Gary. However, the kitchen staff were not very polite and I felt irritated when I asked them about breakfast rolls.
Breakfast was very good and the food overall was good, and the location was very convenient for onward travel, but the room was disappointing, the bathroom was upstairs, and there were many spider webs.
