The location was close to the train station and the old town, and we even saw ducks swimming by the portals in the water. The host was a delight.

Captain Sven is the perfect boat captain; he takes care of guests from the first moment until departure. The breakfast was very good, and he provides everything you want. The location is superb—quick access to the old town—and we’ll gladly return. We can’t think of anything negative.

Sven, the host, was very friendly and helpful, giving us maps and info about Ghent. Our rooms were clean and very nice, and I loved being right on the water watching the ducks. Sven makes a great breakfast, the best I’ve had on my trip to Belgium. The location is just a 10‑minute walk to the historic part and another 10 minutes to the train station, making it a perfect place to stay.
