The hotel was amazing, the view was stunning and the staff were kind. We stayed there in August and were not many guests, so we could enjoy the pool. Watch out for swimming at the beach, but we went there anyway.

The staff were attentive everywhere—from the gate to reception and the restaurant—and the location, upkeep, food, pools and gardens were all excellent; however, the large window in the room had no curtains, making it hard to sleep once it got light before 6 am, the restaurant’s prices were steep (about $10 or 5000 colones for a single egg or avocado portion), and the pool water felt too warm for a beach climate.

The beachfront location is great. The only downside is that there’s no bar or restaurant service at the pool.

The location is close to the beach, and the gentleman at the restaurant is very pleasant. We had a great stay. The pools are a decent size. The place feels a little dated.

It was comfortable and everything looked nice. The screen was hard to use, and the shower was a bit exposed.
