The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was top-notch.
The hotel itself was fine, nothing to complain about.
This place is in a fantastic location, and the breakfast was seriously impressive.
The room was a bit quirky - it was fun to look at, but not always the most practical space to be in.

“Excellent”
Very clean
“Bon hotel centric i confortable”
Ben is situated comfortably and the breakfast is spectacular, but the shower is tiny.
“Hotel in tipico stile artico, molto caldo ed accogliente. Ottima la colazione”
Everything was perfect, and nothing was lacking.
“Very relaxing atmosphere”
Location and excellent breakfast. Nothing else.
“Excellent stay”
The place feels like a trappers' lodge with lots of wood and memorabilia, yet it offers the comfort of a first‑class mainland European hotel. It sits in downtown Longyearbyen, a 15‑minute walk from the port and a 10‑minute drive to the airport, with bus and taxi shuttles available. The rooms are spacious, warm, and very cozy, though you should double‑check that your chosen room fits your needs: some rooms require you to adapt to a bunk‑bed layout and figuring out how to reach the upper bunk. I booked late, so the only option was a room with two single bunks and either a mini‑double or a maxi single bed—my choice was based on availability. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, coming from various nationalities and clearly committed to making your stay enjoyable. Breakfast is a lavish buffet, and you can also order daily specials such as eggs Benedict, banana bread, porridge, omelette, and more. There are two common lounges—one at the entrance and a sky‑roof room on top. Wi‑Fi, which was crucial for my work, is fast and reliable. Because the hotel is in town’s center, cafés, restaurants, bars, a shopping mall, and a supermarket are all within a short walk. Tip: bring your own slippers, as the hotel is shoe‑free, but it’s so clean you could even stroll around in socks.
