The hotel had some great perks, like a kotatsu in the room and a 24-hour hot spring access that was super convenient. The outdoor hot spring was amazing, and I also appreciated the free drinks and rentals available. However, there was a bit of a mix-up with check-in - I went early but was told to come back after 3 pm, which was frustrating since I'd come in early after a day of snowboarding.

The onsen here is absolutely fantastic, but unfortunately, the rooms and common areas were freezing cold, and the small heaters just weren't enough to warm them up.

The outdoor onsen was a highlight - it was nice and cool, so I could stay in for a long time. The walls of the bath were smooth and flat, making it easy to lean against. That was exactly what I was looking for in a relaxing experience. However, the lack of steps and handrails in the bath was a concern, especially in the dark when I have poor vision - I was worried I'd slip and fall.

This hotel really made my stay special thanks to the fantastic staff. They were super friendly and went out of their way to help me when I got lost the next day. After a relaxing soak in the onsen, they handed me a printed map with directions to my next destination - and even translated it into Dutch for me, which was a lovely touch. Their kindness genuinely put a smile on my face and made my experience even more enjoyable.

This hotel's location is perfect, right in the heart of the city. The moment I walked in, I loved the laid-back vibe of the place – it felt like a home away from home. The staff were super friendly and helpful, always willing to lend a hand or answer any questions I had. However, the rooms are a bit small, which was a bit of a letdown, but the cleanliness made up for it. The noise from the street outside was also a bit of an issue, especially at night, but it didn't ruin my stay.
