The beach was close, but someone broke into my room in the middle of the night; my 18‑year‑old daughter was the only one awake to see it happen—terrifying. The staff was rude, there was no hot water, and the place was dirty.

The room was very nice and modern. The staff were very rude, there were only 11 parking spots and you had to park on the side of the building, in the alley. It was very narrow to park and get out.

A very basic motel‑type place. The room wasn’t clean.

It felt snug and peaceful, but the beach was hard to reach unless you drive to Nags Head for all the fun. The room didn’t feel worth the price, so I’d rate it two out of five stars.
