The old‑fashioned atmosphere and the pleasure of sipping tea in antique porcelain cups made me feel like I’d gone back in time, yet all the modern comforts were there. The owners were also very kind, helpful, and attentive to guests.

The welcome was charming. The room was fine, the breakfast was nice, and the surroundings were lovely. It isn’t cheap, but it’s a special place with a strong family history.
The country house was beautiful, well maintained, and had lovely décor. The attic room with a four‑poster bed, separate dressing area, and good‑quality furnishings and products was wonderful. Breakfast was excellent with a good menu choice. We were welcomed with tea and cake, and the grounds were pretty to roam around. Not much to complain about, but I would have liked slippers with the robe and an air‑con if that’s even possible in such a building.

Everything was wonderful. The family was lovely, the bedroom was fabulous, and breakfast was plentiful and nice. We had dinner in town and pre‑booked taxis both ways. The grounds and house are beautiful. The self‑serve bar closed too early; I would have liked a late drink after dinner.
