The attic room was lovely, with a shower and a dining corner; the second room was harder to reach because of the low ceiling. Street parking is free, and the distance to the city center is quite short. The hosts are friendly and kind enough to offer their rooms, and the surroundings are very pleasant. Unfortunately, there was no breakfast on site—though there was a small table, kettle, and fridge, the fridge wasn’t turned on during the heatwave, which was inconvenient. The hosts made space in their fridge while we waited, and we would have loved a breakfast in the garden, but that wasn’t offered.

“Chambre d'hôte très calme et agréable”

I was happy with the location right near the city centre, and the room was very clean with a nice vibe and good décor. The kettle and teapot were handy, and the bathroom was spotless and well equipped. The layout lets you stay independent from the host, but I would have liked a bit more communication from the host – that’s a very subjective note. There was no TV and no Wi‑Fi.

The toilet towels were not at all soft at all. Is the water that hard in Burgundy? The towel felt like a rough canvas!
