It was an exceptional place to stay—really wonderful, charming, elegant yet comfortable; the breakfast was delicious, the owner was lovely and very eager to ensure we had a great time, the location was superb, and I highly recommend it; nothing was missing, it was fab.

Brilliant breakfast. I had the poached eggs and avocado on wholemeal toast both mornings and it was superb. Drip filter coffee was great, too. My partner had the fresh fruit and yogurt, which she said was top-notch. Nothing at all

The room was very comfortable, I slept well. Breakfast was tasty and well cooked, with good menu options. The host was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, within easy walking distance of the bus stop. Meeting friends in Warkworth was important, so the buses running late mattered. The only downside was the breakfast timing – a quarter‑hour earlier would have made all the difference. Parking was limited, but that’s a broader issue for Alnmouth.

The host was absolutely amazing; I couldn’t have asked for more. We went for our anniversary and it was brilliant, truly making our stay special. Thank you so, so much. We’ll definitely return. I can’t recommend this place enough. The room was clean, tidy, and the bed was so comfortable. Nothing else to add.
