We loved the kindness and warmth of the staff. The rooms were spacious and clean, offering a stunning sea view and access to the pools. The food was very good and of high quality. We had a pleasant stay.

The staff were kind, the location and view were good. But Blue Bay Resort disappointed us right from the start: the hotel is old and does not deserve a 4‑star rating. The photos used for promotion do not reflect the current reality. The room doors are old, hard to open and close, and they creak so we can hear neighbors coming and going. The soundproofing is almost nonexistent. Luckily we did not have a room above us. We could hear the hotel’s hill‑side show as if we were there, even with the windows closed it was very noisy. The cleaning lady was not very discreet at 7:30 am! When we arrived, a shower towel had a black mark that we had to have immediately replaced. A mosquito was crushed against the wall. The décor was sad. The bathroom ventilation was noisy and ran all night. Because the balconies are smoking, when our neighbor smoked we had to lock ourselves in the room at night; moreover, all outdoor common areas were smoking, which was very unpleasant during meals, and there were many smokers at the time of our stay. The soft drinks were very diluted and not great. It was hard to feel comfortable and relaxed when you need rest.

The staff were amazing, especially Alexia at reception. The food was very good – great selection and all cooked very well. It’s nice to be able to walk to the beach. The hotel is very clean with lots of staff who clearly work hard, but you have to pay for beach/pool towels.
