The flooring was good and the bed was comfortable, but the handicap bathroom was not up to code—too small, lacking enough handrails, and there wasn’t enough space for the toilet.

The whole area was filthy with trash everywhere and there was no food available. My room had no phone, so I had to call another hotel to get transferred in. Breakfast in the morning was dirty and foodless, and I felt unsafe with my 2‑year‑old because I was surrounded by drug addicts. Lights and doors didn’t work, and I was there because of a storm outage; I probably would have slept safer on my porch. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

I had a very comfortable stay at Wingate Dayton. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.
