We were very disappointed by this establishment, which claims to be almost luxury. From the moment we arrived, there was no introduction to the premises or the room, and hospitality was minimal. The hotel manager immediately presented us with the payment terminal and asked us to pay for our room on the spot, saying that “the policy is to pay upon arrival.” However, we had already paid for our nights in advance, and after checking with our bank, the payment had indeed been debited. The manager then told us to contact Booking and asked for our card’s CVC number so that, according to him, he could process the payment. It was a surprisingly awkward situation that made us uncomfortable right away. Eventually we were able to access our room. We had just come from a desert trip and simply wanted to rest comfortably before our flight the next day. Unfortunately, the room was far from the advertised standard: hair was on the sheets and we even found a fake eyelash on the AC remote. The next morning the situation worsened again: staff members prevented us from leaving to catch our taxi and asked us to pay for the room once more. We had originally planned to stay a second night later in the trip, but we ultimately decided not to honor that. We found a hostel with a private room that offered a much warmer and more professional welcome than this hotel, which was presented as having a “renowned” status. A very disappointing experience, clearly not up to the standard the establishment claims.
