The hotel features a restaurant, room service, and tour desk for excursions to Kandy and the Temple of the Tooth. Rooms have flat-screen TVs, minibars, and en-suite bathrooms with bathtubs. Colombo International Airport is a 2.5-hour drive away, with pickup services available.

The location and service were excellent.

Location wasn’t bad to watch elephants. It had a balcony also. I checked in at almost 12PM and security and room boy were there to open and they were kind. A/c is too old and struggling to cool the room. Toilet is elevated than room floor. Trip hazard. No lift. You need to climb by stairs. Especially difficult for elderly people. Very rude administration Pathetic breakfast buffet. Not much choices and food quality is also poor. Staff there looked tired and frustrated. Hotel charges $49 which is not even worth $20 per night. Though the hotel is not responsible, the way many elephant mahouts are rude to elephants, chaining and poking them. It is sad to see them comply to arrogant humans

The view was beautiful, the staff were welcoming, and the room was spacious.

The rooms are huge, and mine had a great view of the river. The buffet breakfast offered a wide range of options.
