“...ein Hauch von Luxus und doch so sympathisch”

A beautiful old estate with a renovated grand dining hall and breakfast room. In the courtyard there’s a new building with modern rooms and a new outdoor pool. Despite being centrally located, it’s very quiet at night. The whole city centre is walkable, there are many good restaurants and cozy pubs, and there’s a guarded parking spot right next to the hotel.

The rooms in the new wing were very nice. The dining room was lovely and the bar was cozy. The staff were helpful and the service was good. It’s a historic place with a great atmosphere. Be aware that you might get a room in the basement even for a premium room – there’s a big wall in front of the terrace overlooking the pool. I complained and we were moved up to the second floor after one night. The pool area was very small and not as lush and green as the pictures show, but the pool itself was fine.

“Bel hôtel, bien situé mais ne comptez pas sur la piscine.”

The location was great, the place was quiet and spotless. The pool was decent, but only 7 lounge chairs meant we couldn't use it at all – we’d love to have gone, but 7 chairs for a hotel this size is just too few!
