“Charismatic, charming, nostalgic, wonderful”

The staff’s attentiveness was fantastic and they met all our needs even though we arrived late. In a world of new technology and a modern theme, this was a real gem of a place to stay. The schloss is beautifully preserved with intimate details of past family members, paintings and busts and hints of a bygone age. This was shown by the elaborate dining room, chapel and the chance to sign for a bottle of wine and pay in the morning. A truly magnificent place. The only downside was that we only stayed one night.

The staff’s extraordinary friendliness and hospitality made me feel welcomed right away and throughout my stay. My garden‑view room was impeccably clean and well maintained, even though it was decorated in a historic style. The mattress was heavenly and incredibly comfortable. The hotel itself was well kept and the appreciation for the centuries‑old castle is evident in every corner. I especially liked the breakfast at the bistro, which offered a very good selection and service, and the massage that could be booked as an add‑on. I highly recommend it. The only negative thing was that I only stayed for five nights, but I’ll be back soon.

“Empfehlenswert”

Everything was highly recommended. The location was quiet, and even though a wedding party was being held, we didn’t hear any noise. The modern extension was very beautiful.

“Ein kurzer gelungener Aufenthalt besonders für Golfer oder als Veranstaltungsort (Familie)”

We stayed in the modern Golf Lodge of a beautiful historic water castle surrounded by an 18‑hole course, a driving range and a 9‑hole practice area, and the two nights we spent there left us very pleased with the service.
