The location was good. The property was dirty and poorly maintained, with mould on the carpet and a damp smell. I booked a ‘mountain view room’, but the room faced the road. When I booked the rating was 8.5, then it dropped to 7.5. Dragon B&B is not even a 4‑star; it should not be.

The location was great, parking easy, and check‑in quick. The mattress was comfy. The single staff member/owner we met was polite and efficient. The room was comfortable enough but extremely basic, with cheap, mismatched décor and furnishings. The bathroom felt newish but the tiny size would have been a problem for larger people. Stained curtains, a grimy old armchair in the room. Mostly clean, but the internal doors were sticky because they were missed. Breakfast was okay, but the sausages were cheap and tasteless compared to the previous hotel we stayed at. Only two of the four toaster slots worked, causing a small queue for toast.

The place is right in town, the breakfast was solid and the host was friendly, but the bed felt too soft for my liking.

It was probably overpriced because of its location, the room was damp and none of the facilities worked properly.
