The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, close to the sea with nice routes to Herne Bay and Whitstable, but it would have been better if the pod had a kettle and a few cups, even if they were available to hire.

Everything was immaculate and cozy, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. The big green outdoor area was great for kids. I felt uneasy at 2am when I needed the restroom because it required walking behind the building, and it was a long walk from our pod. My key didn’t open the women’s toilets, so I had to use the men’s, which made me even more nervous.

The property looked cute but was very dated and in need of a thorough clean; every door had dirt smears, the floor was rotting, and the white chairs were black with grime. The only clean spot was the laundry. The shower block and toilets were a hygiene hazard, absolutely disgusting, and the park and clubhouse were filthy—so shameful. The staff in the clubhouse were clueless; the guy behind the counter was extremely rude, demanding a replacement glass when I tried to taste my Prosecco with soap suds, insisting I shouldn’t break the glass. He was so rude it made me laugh. We even got a phone call asking how our stay was going, I just said “oh right” and hung up. Don’t waste your money.
