Wie Gäste das Haus bewerten, Aspekt für Aspekt.
The location is good, and the rooms are spacious (not all?) and comfortable. The breakfast is varied and can satisfy most guests. However, the reception staff quality is very uneven, there's no luggage rack in the rooms which is very annoying, the dinner buffet is just okay, the hot dishes aren't hot enough, and outside peak season most restaurants are closed so the choice is limited.

Schöner Pool, eigener Grocery-Store zu extrem vernünftigen Preisen, toller öffentlicher Strand in Gehweite u Strand mit zu bezahlenden Liegen & Handtüchern (nicht zu teuer) ebenfalls (gleich neben dem öffentlichen). Dazu relativ gute Lage mit nicht einmal 10 Minuten Spaziergang zu den Tombs of the Kings, wobei die Lage war Vor- und Nachteil gleichzeitig (Ruhe versus wenige Lokale/Shops in der Nähe), denn etwas weit nördlich (aber viele Restaurants im Hotel u anbei sowie Bus-Station nahebei). Frühstück mit sehr großer Auswahl, freundlichem Personal und hellem Design. In der letzten Nacht Geschrei von russischen Gästen in und vor einem der Nachbarzimmer um 3.15 Uhr (dafür kann aber das Hotel an sich nichts), Personal zT etwas unmotiviert, Lage gut aber etwas weit um zu Fuß zu Kings Avenue Mall oder Hafen zu kommen (Busstation für 615 sowie zentrale Busstation Tomb of the Kings zum Umsteigen zu Hafen, Mall oder Airport aber an sich nahe)

Breakfasts are good, and the area by the pool is nice. The curtains in the room are torn, the mattress is falling apart and too soft, the balcony is dirty, and there’s no iron in the room. What surprised me most was the unpleasant reception by the receptionist, who had a grumpy, pushing look and a harsh tone.

The location is good. When asking questions or making requests, the response was “not possible.” There is no toilet paper holder, you have to wait 10 minutes to pour yourself coffee (and the eggs are cold then). It’s unclear what justifies the 5‑star rating (the luggage rack, perhaps?). In my view, this is an old 3‑star hotel that’s been slightly spruced up.

The staff are very friendly, the pool area is lovely, and the location opposite Venus Beach is great. Walking to Paphos Harbour is long but a beautiful coastal stroll if you’re up for it. It does feel a bit tired in places, with rusting bathroom door handles and stained curtains. The mattresses are very soft/worn, so the bed was uncomfortable.
