The cottage is wonderful, and the responsive host always smiles; the rooms are very large, the bed is big and comfortable, but the sofa bed in the hallway is awkward for sleeping. My husband snores, so we try to sleep in separate rooms when possible. The air‑conditioner is powerful and cools the whole house quickly. The water heater always provides water at the right temperature for a shower. There’s a gas stove in the summer kitchen behind the house, a kettle, a toaster, and a fridge; no microwave or safe. The garden is just a few potted plants at the entrance. There’s a driveway on the property, but we parked the car right outside the gate. The area is quiet, though close to busy streets, and roosters crow in the mornings. Nearby are 7/11, Macro, Superchip, and various cafés. The beach is about a half‑hour walk downhill, and the return is slightly longer. Overall we really enjoyed it and would gladly stay again. Once there was a strong, long rainstorm that caused a bit of dripping from the ceiling in the bedroom; we told the host and she said she would fix it.
