The family running the spot were super friendly and made sure we were comfortable at every turn. The setting is ideal for kicking back, with stand‑up paddleboarding, canoeing, hiking and road‑cycling all right nearby, even though it’s a bit out of the way. Prices are hard to beat and the nearest supermarket is only about a ten‑minute walk, so we never missed anything. I'd book again in a heartbeat.

The place was spotless and the facilities looked well‑kept, giving it a warm, quiet, almost home‑like feel. The only hitch is that it sits a good distance from the main town, so getting there takes a bit of effort.
