“I sin helhet mycket bra och jag kan tänka mig att återvända men lite pricy för ensam resenär.”
I booked the room on short notice and they still managed to arrange airport transfer. The location is spot‑on. Breakfast was good, but they could have offered lactose‑free or oat milk for the coffee. I mentioned this to the friendly bell‑hop, who seemed hesitant to keep it for future guests, so I suggested she could use the products for baking or pancake batter, which she appreciated because she wasn’t familiar with dairy‑free options. The dining area stayed very clean and fresh. The room was tidy, the bed felt new. The garden was cozy and I could see myself staying a couple of nights again. The receptionist was sweet and carried my suitcase up the stairs because I had just had surgery and couldn’t lift. I felt sorry for her, a young woman in high heels shouldn’t be lugging someone’s bag. When I was checking out to move to my daughters’ hotel in Budva, the male manager/receptionist offered a lift but unfortunately dropped me at the wrong address, right in the middle of a street, so I had to walk to an emergency room and ask a woman to call a taxi that took me far away. The idea was good but it cost me a little. The lighting in the room was definitely an issue—too dim overall, too harsh on the task lighting. It might have made the room feel larger and more appealing, especially since it’s tucked in a corner with no natural light because a big tree blocks it. A few hooks for immediate hanging in the room and bathroom would have been nice, but that’s a standard missing item in hotels worldwide. The bed was a bit firm but I slept well. It felt a bit pricey for a solo traveler.
