“Pleasant, but a better breakfast is needed!”
The spot is great and everyone is really sweet and friendly. The breakfast, however, was a real let‑down.

The place is flawless; the location is super interesting, just a 3‑minute walk from Ahmed Mosque. Burak was a huge help—thanks to him and everyone else who stayed positive along the way.

It was very clean and comfortable. Toilet paper was refilled and trash collected daily, giving a well‑managed impression. I stayed in a women‑only dormitory, which was relatively quiet at night, so I could rest easily. The shower had plenty of hot water and was comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. Considering the price, it’s a very good value hostel. On the first floor I could work on my computer without issues, but in the rooms the Wi‑Fi connection was unstable at times.

I had a great stay at this hostel! The staff were amazing, especially Burak and Hanneke, who were always so friendly and helpful. The location is great, the atmosphere is social and it’s easy to meet other travelers. The rooms were clean and everything was well maintained. Overall, a really good experience. I would definitely recommend it!

The best part is that it’s a few steps from Hagia Sophia, so you can walk everywhere, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff are very kind and attentive. The terrace view is beautiful and calming, and the vibe of meeting people from all over the world is entertaining. I ended up on a bed where the mattress was larger than the frame, so it tilted and I slept crooked; I asked for a new mattress and was told it would arrive, but after more than 10 days it still hadn’t been replaced. I had requested a lower bed, which was possible from the second day, but when they assigned it, someone had already used it; I took a photo and showed it to the front desk, and the man checked it and told me to use another bed, yet the next day my bed was again occupied, apparently the system hadn’t been updated. I went back to reception and met another man who was very unpleasant, but luckily I had the photos to prove my point, because he wouldn’t believe me and claimed I had changed it myself. The women’s bathroom had a toilet problem for more than 10 days: water leaked, flushing didn’t work, and I had to see other people’s waste—this needs fixing. Reception said it was slow, but it was impossible to wait hours for the tank to fill with water. The shower required a deep clean because of mold that kept appearing even after cleaning. They say they have luggage storage, but the bags are left at the reception entrance and sometimes it’s alone, so it’s not advisable to leave valuables, even though they mentioned cameras, which wouldn’t recover lost items.
