It was comfortable and cozy, with rooms nicely styled, but I wish someone was at the reception more often.

The location was good, yet the rates were extremely high compared to the services and the size of the rooms. The rooms were too small.

The staff are professional, helpful, and responsive to needs, and the hotel’s location is good. However, the room’s insulation was poor and I noticed it on my last night. My stay was perfect until that final night, when the neighboring room was occupied; I could hear everything happening in the adjacent bathroom and toilet. In my view, the bed I was in was pressed against the neighboring room’s toilet, and I was woken each time the flush was pulled. Additionally, a sewer odor appeared in my room, forcing me to open the window to ventilate, which attracted mosquitoes. I even heard the other guest brushing their teeth at 7 am. That night I slept badly. The bathroom I occupied was clean, but the bathtub cleaning could be improved.

The staff were very friendly. The location is perfect and the rooms are quiet. Unfortunately, we had to leave again :-) We will definitely come back!

We stayed in the “Taxi Driver” room, which was very old and clearly not maintained: marks on the walls and doors, scuffed faux‑leather chair, damaged desk, and outdated furniture. The room handle was hard to open and the entrance light did not work throughout the stay, making the closet very dark. The door closed poorly and let light from the hallway in. There was no telephone network in the room to make calls, and no safe. The mini‑bar only had a water jug. The shutters were hard to close because the crank was broken. The bathroom was inconvenient: no outlet for my own hair dryer, and the one provided was tiny and powerless. Adjusting the hot/cold water was difficult, and the toilet was very narrow. The phone was placed in the middle of the double bed. The sound insulation was catastrophic: we heard everything in neighboring rooms and the hallway. We had to sleep with earplugs the entire stay, even though we were on vacation to rest. Urine smells were also present in the hallway. After reporting it, I was told it came from my perfume, which I found shameful and totally inappropriate. Finally, the organization was very poor: we had to register at the neighboring Brimer hotel, which has no elevator. Initially, no one was at the Athénée reception. I was told to drop the key at Brimer, but the door was closed, no one answered the bell, and the reception did not answer the phone, despite my early departure notice.
