The beach was stone‑free, but the pool had not been cleaned for several years and was a health hazard; on the morning we left a hen swam in the pool, and all night a group of young guys (relatives?) sat outside an apartment smoking and banging on the door. I couldn't even try to sleep, so I stayed outside all night and in the morning. The staff's kids rode scooters around the corridors, which was not fun when you’re on vacation.

The location was beachfront and the pool was great, but the noise was a problem: the bar next door played music until 1 am, the neighbors upstairs and next door were loud and had no respect.

The proximity to the beach and the air conditioning were good, but the stay was very disappointing at Lanta Green Garden Hotel. The main issue was noise: several night bars nearby played extremely loud music until 3 am, the windows vibrated so much that the sound was powerful, making it impossible to sleep even with the windows closed. For a family with children it was unbearable. We changed rooms, but the noise was the same. On top of that the rooms were old, the sheets were stained (including blood spots) and torn upon arrival, cleanliness was average, the shower drain was clogged and the pool water was cloudy. Know this before booking if you’re looking for rest.

The spot is spot on the beach and a short stroll to cafés, restaurants and supermarkets. In the afternoon the pool stayed shaded, which was handy for beating the heat without getting sunburnt. The shower and door could use some fixing, and the room service left a bit to be desired – I had to clear the rubbish myself. The décor could use a touch of restoration, and be aware that the beach bars get noisy at night, with loud beats echoing into the rooms.
